Hope Will Blossom For the Children of Silungan ng Pag-asa
Three graduating Interior Design students of Mapua University, in partnership with Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc., turned over a newly renovated all-female lodging facility in Silungan ng Pag-asa (Shelter of Hope) Paco, Manila last February 12, 2019.
Silungan ng Pag-asa was founded by Pastor Antnero to serve as a temporary shelter for Poor Children with Cancer from far-flung provinces while they are undergoing treatments in Philippine General Hospital in Manila.
Project #HopeBlossoms aimed to help ease the emotional burden in an already difficult situation of these pediatric patients in the said facility by providing them a conducive dwelling space with their caregivers while in Manila. CBK Hardware provided sets of door hardware, safety bathroom handlebars, plumbing fixtures, and ceiling fans to support this kind-hearted project of our future Interior Designers.
